When Andient moved to Addis with her husband and daughter to find work, they were tested for HIV and the results were positive.  Her husband died shortly after, and Andinet moved to the Entoto Beth HIV community and found work with an organization that makes jewelry.  Since then, she has worked with other HIV+ artisans, where she can thrive without stigma and shame.  Andinet loves her work and her community.  She is the sole provider for her daughter and has dreams of owning a home someday.
